BUTTERFLY KAFTAN

The Butterfly Kaftan is a collection of fabrics from different places, techniques and qualities married into one look. The Fukuro obi sash depicts woven in butterflies and hydrangeas with gold brocades.

The French lace was embroidered with sequins in Austria and ultimately the Kaftan was made in Los Angeles.

In Hanakotoba the hydrangea represents changeability and the rainy season.
