OVERSIZED BRONZE BAMBOO OBI BAG

Made from two deconstructed Fukuro Obi’s, with a silk woven brocade with colourful golden and silver Dahlias and golden waves. In Hanakotoba Dahlias sometimes represent fickleness or instability alongside elegance, dignity and grace.

The bronze bamboo handle of the bag had survived the Palisades Fire of 2025 and had been restored in Los Angeles. It was originally part of a collection which was handmade in Thailand. This was the only surviving piece from Helena Honar’s previous collection.
